Copyright
“I have copyright? Is it contagious?!”
Sorry, bad Covid joke right there...
While I hate diving into this topic, the truth of the matter is that some people are just assholes when it comes to copying the work of others. So, here we go...some legalese for you to explain the what's what of copyright.
Copyright is literally a right to copy and gives ME, as the creator of my work, the exclusive rights to exploit MY OWN work for a specific amount of time. Exploiting the work means ONLY I can make money from it by selling copies of it, selling the rights for related works (such as patterns for said works) or, distributing it.
All of the my original work is copy written, because, it's ORIGINAL. As soon as I write, draw, paint, or KNOT something I have implied copyright because it is my original work.
Please do not copy my work, or anyone's work for that matter. The only way you have any right to do so is if you have exercised some skill, knowledge, or labour in its creation. The last time I checked I didn't have any elves helping me make my work, so that means it is MINE.
Every piece of work on this website is thus protected by Copyright ©, and any infringement will not be tolerated. If you wish to use my images please do not do so unless I have given you expressed consent, at which time I ask that you give credit to me as the artist.
